(2) A client access license (CAL) is used to provide an end-user access to an application system or component developed with VisualAPL.
a. One CAL is required for each web server on which a VisualAPL-developed application or component is deployed. If a web-server supports multiple domains, virtual machines or multiple processors, additional CALs are required for each domain, virtual machine or processor.
b. One CAL is required for each end-user machine on which a VisualAPL-developed application system or component is physically deployed, either by direct local installation or by one-click install from a web server.
c. At any time a customer may elect to convert an annual CAL to a perpetual CAL for a one-time cost of $200. A perpetual CAL remains in effect as long as a current VisualAPL professional developer license associated with this CAL is in effect.
